Stow Community Thanksgiving Service
Nov thanks svc logo.jpgWe are hosting this community Thanksgiving celebration on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 7:00 p.m. Music includes the Stow Heritage Ringers handbell ensemble. Reception with light refreshments to follow. All are welcome.
 
Annual Healing Service
healing svc logo.jpgOur annual healing service on Sunday, Nov. 30, is a time when we bring our physical, emotional and spiritual hurts before God and ask the Holy Spirit to being healing. Individual prayer and anointing is available. Held during the regular morning worship times: 8:15, 9:30 and 10:45 a.m.

 Worship Childcare Minimize

   For the dignity of worship, and as a courtesy to others, we offer the following Sunday morning childcare options to parents:
   Infant care at each service
   Toddler care (up to pre-K) at 8:15 and 10:45 services; Sunday school during 9:30 service
   Our nurseries are supervised by caring volunteers from the congregation and one on-staff childcare supervisor. Pagers are available.

 Worship Minimize

worship web logo.jpgGod created us to have relationship with Him, and our greatest spiritual need is to connect to Him. We do this in worship, where we praise and thank Him and receive His goodness, strength and love. We worship God as a community of believers with music and prayer, and learn from God's holy Word, the Bible.

Our worship services vary in style and format to appeal to your personal tastes

  • 8:15 am Contemporary -- Features our Praise Team.
  • 9:30 am Traditional -- Includes long-loved hymns, the doxology, the creeds, the Lord's Prayer.
  • 10:45 am Blended -- Features our adult choirs and a mix of hymns and praise songs.

 Special services Minimize
Lent and Easter
easter lily.jpgWe observe Lent with a communion service on Ash Wednesday that includes optional disposition of ashes; Maundy Thursday communion service and footwashing ceremony; and a Good Friday tennebrae service. Easter services are held at their usual Sunday morning times.
 
Healing service
healing svc logo.jpgEach November we hold a healing service to pray for God's touch in our physical, emotional and spiritual lives. Anointing of those in need of special prayer is also included.
 
Advent and Christmas
christmas candles.jpgAdvent often includes an evening cantata by our choirs and a Sunday morning children's drama. On Christmas Eve we hold services so that our staff can enjoy Christmas day with their families.

 Kids in Worship Minimize
We offer these special worship activities for children:

Children in Worship – Children's bulletins are available from the ushers. During the 10:45 worship service, children (pre-K-2nd grade) gather at the front of the sanctuary for a special message based on the pastor’s lesson or a similar topic. 

Jesus And Me (JAM) – After the children’s message at the 10:45 worship service, a special time of worship just for ages 4 years-2nd grade is held downstairs. The children learn why and how we worship, as well as about special worship activities, including communion, baptism, Advent and Easter.
