We believe that God calls us to use our musical gifts to praise Him and enhance the worship experience for the congregation. Whether you are an accomplished musician or someone who just loves to sing, we have a variety of vocal and handbell ensembles to suit your talents and tastes. New participants are always welcome!

 Vocal Music Minimize
Music choir posed.jpgChancel Choir—led by Jen Morris. The Chancel Choir (7th grade-adults) leads the 10:45 worship with a mix of traditional and contemporary arrangements. The choir also performs a seasonal cantata at either Easter or Christmas. Choir members do not need to be able to read music.  Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:15 in Abraham hall, plus a "Super Saturday" rehearsal on the second Saturday of each month from 9:00-11:00 a.m.  

Rejoice Choir—led by Jen Morris. This ensemble leads music at worship on a regular basis and performs special music.  Members should be able to read music and sing in harmony. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:45-7:45 p.m. in Abraham Hall with an occasional Saturday rehearsal in the sanctuary.  Members should also be comfortable practicing on their own. New voices are always welcome.Music happy hearts.jpg

Happy Hearts—led by Gayle Schrack. Children 4 years through 2nd grade celebrate God in music as part of their weekly Sunday school lesson.

Resonators—Our 3rd-6th graders are invited to resonate God's glory in song with our newest musical group. Meets Wednesdays at 6:25 pm.

 Handbells Minimize
Mary’s Bells—led by Sherri Stoffer. Mary’s Bells is organized for our advanced adult and teen ringers.  We have great fun as we grow the quality of our music. Music reading skills are helpful. Rehearsals are Sundays 12:00-1:15 pm in Abraham Hall.Aug bell hands.jpg

Joyful Ringers—led by Elizabeth Petersen. Beginning handbells for teens and adults. Anyone young or old, interested in learning handbells is welcome! We focus on developing technique (malleting, marting, plucking) as well as growing your love of ringing. Rehearsals are Wednesdays 4:45-5:45 pm in Abraham Hall.

Chimers—led by Stephanie Gardiner. Beginning chimers is for our youngest ringers—1st grade and up. We teach music reading skills, basic rhythms and beginning handbell techniques through games, exercises and use of chimes, which are lighter than bells. Rehearsals are Wednesdays 4:45-5:45 pm in Heritage Hall.
